- Improved and optimized existing galvanic baths and processes.
- Managed additive manufacturing of 316L stainless steel using Nanoparticle Jetting technology.
- Characterized deposits using optical/electron microscopy (SEM) and XRF analysis.
Formulation of 3d printing inks
Università degli Studi di Firenze, Sesto Fiorentino (Italy)- Curricular internship lasting 150 hours, attended during the master's degree course in Chemical Sciences.
- Formulated and 3D-printed starch-based hydrogel inks with citric acid and glycerol.
- Performed rheological, calorimetric, and microscopic analyses for material characterization.
- Conducted a literature review on hydrogel wound dressings and polymeric formulations.
R&D of cementitious formulations
Università degli Studi di Firenze, Sesto Fiorentino (Italy)- Curricular internship lasting 150 hours, part of the university study course in Chemical Technologies.
- Bibliographic research on the state of the art.
- Investigated magnesium silicate hydrate-based cements for additive manufacturing applications.
- Developed and tested cementitious mixtures for 3D printing.
- Characterized materials using SEM, DSC, AFM, XRD, and X-ray tomography.
